Taught by current students of the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design Art Education Program.

No registration required. Seating is limited to 40 students.

A Parent or Guardian must remain on the premises during Kids’ Art Club. Parents are welcome to watch and/or participate in the class. Should the class be full, children will have seating priority at tables.

Instruction begins promptly at 4:30pm and lasts for one hour. Please note recommended age groups. All classes are held on the second floor of our Denver store.

Class Descriptions

Sophisticated Sketchbooks
October 2 • ages 8-12
Create and construct a unique one of a kind sketchbook using fancy decorative papers from Savior Faire! Learn basic binding techniques and take home a beautiful sketchbook waiting to be filled with ideas.

Beautiful Baked Beads
October 16 • ages 8-12
Make a fashion statement by creating colorful beads that can be baked and made into necklaces, bracelets, key chains or whatever you decide.  Design your own beads using Sculpey III and turn them into beautiful art that can be worn

Pumpkin Still Life
October 23 • ages 6-12
Explore value in a festive fall themed painting.  Using Color and Co. Giant Tempera Cakes create tints and shades of colors to paint an expressive monochromatic still life.

Monster Masterpieces
October 30 • ages 6-12
Get Spooky for Halloween using Cray-Pas Junior Artist Oil Pastels to create a monster using lines, shapes, and patterns. Build up the layers and scratch away, or paint over to create a resist. Take home a work of art sure to scare!
