Backorders

Although Meininger's makes every effort to avoid delays in shipping, occasionally we must backorder an item that is out of stock. Since shipping charges are figured based on the initial order's subtotal, any shipping charges for the backordered items will have already been paid. No additional shipping charges will be added to the backorder. If more than one item is backordered, we will wait until all items have arrived and ship the complete order via ground service at that time. Special Orders

Special orders, which include non-stocking items or unusual quantities of stock items, will be shipped according to standard shipping services.

Returns

Please use the return form provided with your order for all returns outside the Denver metro area. If you do not have this form, include a copy of your receipt and a note with the reason for return. Send package to:

Upon receipt of returned merchandise a credit will be issued or replacement merchandise will be shipped.

We will credit "return" shipping costs for defective items or mistakenly shipped items only.

In the Denver Metro area, we will pickup returns. Please make arrangements with your original salesperson or the shipping department.

Additional Handling for Oversize Packages

Items between 35" and 108" in length shipped by UPS require an additional handling charge of $10.50 per package besides actual shipping charges. Handling charge subject to change.

Hazardous Materials

Paints, mediums, thinners, and pressurized products that we sell which are considered hazardous materials or "ORM-D" by the U.S. Dept. of Transportation and USPS or UPS may have additional charges. Each hazardous material type requires separate boxes and must be shipped via ground service only. Additional shipping charges may apply, you will be notified before anything is shipped.

Sales Tax on Shipping Charges

Outside Continental United States

Due to the increase in international credit card fraud, we are no longer able to accept credit card payment for orders outside the Continental United States and we can ship to Canada though subject to additional fees, unless a valid billing address for the card number within the U. S. is provided. We can also accept an International Money Order made payable to Meininger's in U. S. Dollars. Shipping time will vary depending upon destination. Customs clearance and import duties are the responsibility of the recipient. Contact your local customs office for more information.

Freight Service

Some larger items must be sent via freight truck. Next Day or Second Day Services are not available for these items, nor can we ship them to destinations outside the continental U. S. Once Meininger's has calculated the appropriate shipping fees, we will send you an email confirmation of the total amount of your order. Please let us know as soon as you can any cancellations or changes. Shipping time will vary depending on the destination of your order.

APO Addresses

Meininger's art supplies can be shipped to any military/APO address.
