What if the Product I want is Out Of Stock?

Please let us know what and how many item(s) you need. Our staff will contact you once the item is back in stock.

For Shipping: We'll send it to you as soon as the item is available, if more than one item is on order, we'll ship once we have your complete order using UPS or USPS ground service. Shipping charges are figured based on the initial order's subtotal, no additional charges will be added after the original shipping charges unless the items are overweight or oversize.

For Store Pick-up: If you are picking up an order we will notify you when your order is ready.

Do You Special Order Products?

Yes, special orders are defined as orders of items not regularly stocked, unusual quantities of items, or custom products such as our custom-built canvas.

Special orders may take 1-4 weeks, shipping costs do apply. Time sensitive orders may be subject to special fees. We require pre-payment and special orders are not returnable.

What is Proposition 65?

Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. Where Is My Order?

Please provide us with your email address, once your order has shipped we will email you the tracking information. You can then track your order using the carrier's tracking app.

How Long Will It Take To Receive My Order?

Shipping time depends on where you live and the carrier. Once we receive your order, it may take up to 48 hours to process. We will let you know if it will be longer than 48 hours if we're waiting for an item to be restocked, etc.

We encourage you to use UPS's Time in Transit calculator to determine the shipping time from zip code 80203 to your location. By adding the 48 hour processing time and time in transit information, you can approximate when you will receive your order.

We currently ship within the lower 48 contiguous states at our standard shipping rates unless the shipment is oversized or overweight. We will ship to Hawaii, Alaska and Canada at actual shipping rates. You will be notified of any additional charges before anything is shipped.

Shipping Costs

Most shipping charges are based on your order's subtotal. Sales Tax For Shipped Items

We are required to collect the sales tax based on where the customer takes possession of their purchased products.

For shipments within Colorado we are required to collect state sales tax (2.9%). Because we have a store in Denver, we must also collect tax for orders being shipped to the city of Denver (4.81%) and within the RTD (1.1%) for a total of 8.81% in Denver.

Orders shipping to Colorado Springs or elsewhere in El Paso county must also pay the appropriate tax (3.12% for Colorado Springs and 1.23% for El Paso county with a 1% PPRTA). With the 2.9% Colorado tax, Colorado Springs tax totals 8.25%.

STORE PICK-UP

Both our Denver and Colorado Springs locations can provide curbside and in-store pick-up orders for our customers. To complete your curbside or in-store pick-up order online, proceed through the check-out process by adding your Billing Address. Click "Bill & Ship to this Address" The next section will be 'Shipping Method' and you will be asked to choose a shipping method for your order, please select "Curbside Pickup" and specify Denver or Colorado Springs in the order notes to complete your order for curbside. Or you can come into our store and ask an associate to pick up your Will Call order, give them your name and or order number and the order will be retrieved for you.

If you don't feel comfortable giving us your shipping address feel free to use our address (499 Broadway, Denver, CO 80203) We know this is a little confusing but as long as you select 'Curbside Pickup' as your preferred shipping method your order will NOT be shipped, it will be waiting at the store for you to come pick it up.

I Am A Teacher Buying Supplies For My School. Do I Get Any Special Pricing?

We love art teachers and art education! Meininger's has set up a special discount for both private and public schools. To qualify, the materials must be purchased with school funds, i.e. school credit card, or house account only.

Purchases made with personal funds will be taxed, State form DR0137 "Claim for Refund" is available online at https://tax.colorado.gov/tax-exempt-purchases> and may be submitted to the state for reimbursement.
